Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman has had himself quite the year in 2017. Although his team came up short in game seven of the World Series, Turner had a great season and won co-MVP of the National League Championship Series.
Falling one game short of a championship is disappointing, but before the season, Turner got engaged to his girlfriend in March and was riding a wave of positivity. To celebrate, he joined forces with some other stars for an epic bachelor party.
Turner assembled quite the crew of former and current athletes to join him in celebrating his last days as a free man before his wedding. The party not included a group of athletes but made the Los Angeles tour of sports.
With NBA stars James Harden, Chris Paul, former San Diego Charger greats LaDainian Tomlinson and Shawne Merriman, NBA players Larry Nance Jr. and Bobby Brown, and former baseball players Ricky Romero and Josh Satin, Turner and company first stopped by to swatch the Los Angeles Chargers play the Cleveland Browns.
They followed it up by watching the Lakers lose to Paul and Harden’s Houston Rockets the following day.
Details on what occurred during the rest of the bachelor party are scarce, but Turner turned to Instagram to share one fun moment. Following the game, the all-star bunch made their way down to the court for some simple gambling.
Teammates Paul and Harden decided to put their skills to the test in a half-court shooting competition. They put $200 down on the first person to hit a half-court shot. With everyone watching, Harden and Paul traded shots. In the end, Paul hit nothing but net to win the cash.
Turner thanked everyone for making his bachelor party special.
He wrote on Instagram, “Pretty special day with my boys doing a #SportsDayinLA for the bachelor party! Thank you @Chargers and @Lakers for the hospitality!!! Also, shout out to @cp3 @jharden13 @bbrownsix_ @larrydn7 @shawnemerriman and #LT_21 for treating my boys so good #LA.”
