David Beckham’s Son Signs With Premier League Reserve Team
David Beckham’s son, Romeo, has agreed to play on loan for a Premier League reserve team from Inter Miami II. The 20-year-old is a right winger, like his father. He joined Fort Lauderdale CF in 2021, a year before it was renamed Inter Miami II. In the preseason friendly against Barcelona in July last year, Romeo played six minutes for Inter Miami’s first team. He is currently on loan from the team to play in England until June 2023.
David Beckham’s Son Is Going Big
Inter Miami CF II announced in a blog post on the club’s website that Romeo Beckham has joined Brentford B on a six-month loan. Up until June 2023, the winger will play for the English Premier League club’s reserve team.
After the club completed its signing, Brentford FC in West London announced that he would be playing for the B team. In response to the transaction, Romeo’s current performance has been praised by Brentforford B head coach Neil MacFarlane, saying that Romeo has been an absolute joy for them ever since they joined the club. To work with them during their offseason, Romeo came to them from Inter Miami and he put in an unbelievable amount of effort. He has fully embraced the culture he has grown to be an integral part of. The head coach also says that he admires his standards and the way he acts both on and off the field.
Very Technical, Like His Father
According to MacFarlane, David Beckham’s son is very technical and somebody who can cross and shift the ball quickly. He thinks that Romeo can play a variety of positions for them, which is also pleasing. The fact that Inter Miami asked them to work with him and placed their trust in them to help Romeo develop is a true testament to Brentford B.
Romeo even posted a photo of himself and David Beckham holding up his new kit on Instagram. He wrote that it was an exciting start to the year, and he was looking forward to the challenge.
