Tom Brady in Yet Another Super Bowl
Tom Brady left the New England Patriots back in March and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Shortly after doing so, he took on the task of convincing his former teammate, Rob Gronkowski, to come out of retirement and sign with the Bucs, too.
Almost a year later, both Brady and Gronk are headed back to the Super Bowl, and it’s going to be their 6th one playing together. This happened after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship.
Celebrating Reaching Another Super Bowl
Tom Brady took to Instagram to post a video of him and Gronkowski celebrating the victory. On the Late, Late Show with James Corden, Rob Gronkowski talked about the locker room conversation that followed the big win.
Gronk mentioned that they gave each other a big hug and said that the win was what it’s all about. It’s why they both went down to Tampa Bay and that it’s their dream. He added that they put in a lot of work and were going to an organization that was ready for success.
It was surreal for both Gronk and Brady to be heading to a Super Bowl with another team aside from the Patriots. However, they’re having a lot of fun doing it.
Rob Gronkowski added that the opportunity to play with Tom Brady again felt right, which is a big reason for him to come out of retirement and head down to Tampa. He told James Corden that they went to Tampa all the way, but it’s unbelievable for them to have gone all the way the first year.
Both Gronk and Tom Brady will be returning to play with the Tampa Bay Bucs for the 2021 season.
