Keeping Quiet
The injury was a devastating one as Durant clutched his calf while leaving the court. All around him the Raptors fans were cheering and celebrating as though they had already won the championship. It was a huge blow to the Warriors, but the Raptors players did their best to stop their fans from celebrating an injury to one of the league’s very best. If they were going to win this championship, they wanted to beat the Warriors at their best.
Injury Crisis
The problem was the Warriors were in the middle of an injury crisis and the long season was taking its toll on the players. It was all they could do to put out a competitive team, but even that wasn’t enough to stop the Raptors from scoring a victory that day.

The Warriors’ Actions
Durant doesn’t believe you can blame the Warriors for the injury he suffered. He said he was aiming to come back in game five and nothing was going to stop him from doing that. Durant said his injury, which is expected to keep him out for an entire year, had nothing to do with the Warriors and that “it just happened.”
The star is now a Nets player and says all he’s focused on is the future and he’s not looking back at his injury. He doesn’t blame the Warriors at all and is excited for what the Nets can do in the coming years.
