The quarterback appears to be in great shape and is looking close to his last billed 230 lbs weight, according to the 49ers.

Colin Kaepernick was due to have a trial with the Seahawks in 2018, but that was reportedly canceled by the franchise because the quarterback wouldn’t disclose if he planned to kneel. After all, it has been the reason why he was cut from the league in the first place, and what allegedly kept him out since. Kaepernick filed a lawsuit and reached a settlement with the NFL over his claims teams colluded to keep him out of the league because of his activism.

Considering his talents and free-agent status, Kaepernick’s serious commitment to a comeback could benefit one lucky NFL by bringing his skills back to the league.
